Windows 10 Download Speed is very slow - Microsoft Community Hub
Ask a new question. When I open Downloads folder I have to wait for the content to load seconds. When the content is loaded, it does not take so much time next time I try to open it. Other sites suggests that changing the folder optimization to "General Items" fixes the issue. Unfortunately this is not my case. I still experience the problem after changing the setting.

Is MS doing something to fix this? Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. Any content of an adult theme or inappropriate to a community web site. Any image, link, or discussion of nudity. Any behavior that is insulting, rude, vulgar, desecrating, or showing disrespect.

If the issue does not persist, then suggest you to perform a Clean Boot. A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10, Windows 8. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

I suggest you to run the System Maintenance troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if it helps. I really appreciate the effort, but please get some more senior help. There "robot" type of answers are not helpful. We need to debug this issue if we want to know what the problem is.

Hi, We apologize for the delay in response. Type Troubleshooting in the search box and press Enter. Click on View All in the top left pane. From the list click on System Maintenance and follow the on screen prompts.
